Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has new, five-round championship main event for the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, set for inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., July 9, 2016.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during the promotion's visit to Good Morning America on ABC.
UFC 200 was left without a headliner when reigning featherweight champion Conor McGregor bailed on his mid-summer showdown with Nate Diaz. "Notorious" requested to be released from any and all promotional duties but UFC President Dana White was unaccommodating.
