Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight-turned-welterweight attraction, Donald Cerrone, came under fire last weekend for using a homophobic slur to describe the way Daniel Cormier fought against Anderson Silva at the UFC 200 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Following his three-round decision over "The Spider," Cormier told UFC color commentator Joe Rogan he "did what he had to do" -- which was not strike with the greatest striker in the history of MMA -- because he trained for Jon Jones, not the Brazilian.
Safe to say he was not impressed with Cerrone's comments, based on this blurb from The MMA Hour (via MMA Fighting):
