Now that Jones has been stripped of his title following Monday’s hit-and-run felony arrest, Cormier and Anthony Johnson will battle for the vacant belt at UFC 187. According to the Gambling Gods, Cormier should leave Las Vegas with the ever-elusive gold.
Cormier is currently a slight 1.5-1 odds-on favorite to capture the crown. Johnson, meanwhile, comes in close behind at +120.
Jones’ future is foggy, at best. He was issued an indefinite suspension by the UFC following his latest hiccup.
