Danaher: St-Pierre’s return will depend on medical condition, but retirement a ‘definite possibility’

With the recent revelation of having ulcerative colitis, Georges St-Pierre’s fighting future suddenly became uncertain. The illness has also led him to vacate the UFC middleweight title he won over Michael Bisping at UFC 217 in New York City early last month.

On Monday’s episode of the MMA Hour, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach John Danaher also confirmed that St-Pierre is currently at a crossroads in his career, and may be looking at hanging it up for good.

“That is a definite possibility,” Danaher said about St-Pierre’s possible retirement (via MMA Fighting).
