Tony Ferguson recently came out issuing a warning to the Ultimate Fighting Championship 155-pound division, declaring he had been cleared to fight after recent personal issues. However, UFC President Dana White is still unsure of his return to action.
Ferguson’s wife filed a restraining order against the former interim champion just month after alleged erratic behaviour which Ferguson did not deny, but for which he claimed he was seeking professional help. White addressed reporters following UFC 236, where in Ferguson’s absence, Dustin Poirier defeated featherweight champ Max Holloway for another interim lightweight title.
