When Anderson Silva retires, he will leave the sport as one of the greatest UFC champions in history and arguably near the top of the list as the best to ever compete in the sport of mixed martial arts.
The 45-year-old veteran is currently recovering from knee surgery from back in May that came almost exactly one year after his last appearance in the UFC when he fell to Jared Cannonier by TKO.
Silva is just 1-6 with one no contest in his past eight fights but with two bouts remaining on his current deal, the former middleweight king still hopes to fulfill his contract before calling it a career.
