Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White has weighed in on the current Twitter war of words between reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former two-division champ Conor McGregor.
The pair met last October at UFC 229 in a fight that was overshadowed by the ugly post-fight scuffle which broke out after Nurmagomedov dominated the Irishman for most of the fight before submitting him in the fourth round. This week, both fighters have exchanged some extremely personal jabs via Twitter, starting with McGregor posting a photo from Nurmagomedov’s wedding and referring to his veiled wife as a “towel,” which was deleted shortly after.
