The strawweight division has its next title contender.
Following Jessica Andrade’s thrilling victory over Angela Hill at UFC Fight Night 104, UFC president Dana White confirmed that Andrade would “absolutely” be the next title challenger for Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s 115-pound strap.
“When you see the way she fought tonight, just imagine those two squaring off and the absolute war that will be,” White said on the FOX Sports 1 post-fight show. “That’s going to be a fun fight.”
While Andrade, 25, had an up-and-down UFC career at women’s bantamweight, she has looked like a fighter reborn competing at 115 pounds.
