Donald Cerrone's 8th straight victory is apparently more than enough to get him his first ever UFC title shot.
UFC lightweight contender Donald Cerrone put in another fine performance over the weekend, stopping John Makdessi in the 2nd round of their UFC 187 encounter to give himself his 8th win in a row. Cerrone has beaten the likes of Eddie Alvarez, Ben Henderson, Myles Jury, and Edson Barboza during his streak, so while Makdessi is nowhere near the best win on his record, his overall body of work speaks for itself.
