Dana White on Oscar De La Hoya returning from retirement: ‘Cocaine isn’t cheap’

If Oscar De La Hoya really plans to makes his return to boxing, he probably shouldn’t expect UFC president Dana White to sit in his cheering section.

Earlier this week, the 47-year-old boxer turned promoter declared that he was coming out of retirement with plans to compete again more than a decade after his last fight.

“The rumors are true, and I’m going to start sparring in the next few weeks,” De La Hoya told ESPN.

“I miss being in the ring, I love boxing. Boxing is what gave me everything I have today, and I just miss it.
