UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg wants to make her first title defense against former bantamweight champion Holly Holm, but a deal has not yet been struck.
Cyborg has said that she would like to take on Holm at UFC 219 on December 30th, but recently tweeted that the UFC “want to pay me less to fight Holly Holm than I made to fight Tonya Evinger.” Shortly thereafter, Cyborg’s longtime manager George Prajin addressed the tweet by saying, "Emotions can run high during negotiations, but to clarify things, the UFC has not made an offer for a fight at UFC 219.
