On Wednesday, Floyd Mayweather Jr. laid out his terms for accepting a boxing match with UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor – a cool $100 million and a percentage of the fight’s pay-per-view buys, with McGergor receiving $15 million and some PPV money.
Friday, UFC president Dana White countered Mayweather’s offer with one that “Money” will likely scoff at: $25 million for each fighter, and they can negotiate the PPV split.
“I have an offer. I’ll pay Floyd $25 million and Conor $25 million. Then we’ll talk pay-per-view,” White said on Fox Sports 1’s “Herd with Colin Cowherd.
