The Nevada State Athletic Commission decided last minute to not license Jon Jones in its state for UFC 232. This had left the UFC no choice but to find a new venue in less than a week, which was accommodated by the California State Athletic Commission.
The NSAC has not meted out any sanctions for Jones, and UFC president Dana White is not expecting for it to happen.
“I don’t think that happens. The reality is Nevada couldn’t do a hearing,” White told media members during the UFC 232 post-fight press conference. “They could have done it on Friday, and I talked to some guys about it the other day.
