Dana White isn’t happy about what happened after the UFC 229 megafight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
Immediately after the fight, in which Nurmagomedov retained the lightweight title with a fourth-round submission of McGregor, the Russian jumped over the fence and seemingly attacked McGregor teammate and Bellator fighter Dillion Danis. Chaos ensued afterwards — Nurmagomedov teammates jumped into the Octagon and went after McGregor, and security was everywhere trying to stop the madness.
It’s not yet clear exactly who was involved in the massive post-fight brawl.
Minutes later, Nurmagomedov and McGregor were both escorted out of the cage to backstage, and UFC announcer Bruce Buffer announced “The Eagle” as the winner.
