Dana White Confirms That Commentator Mike Goldberg Will Call Final Event at UFC 207

A longtime staple of UFC pay-per-view broadcasts will bid farewell on Friday night.

Speaking to assembled media in Las Vegas on Friday, UFC President Dana White confirmed that longtime play-by-play commentator Mike Goldberg will part ways with the promotion after UFC 207. Entimports.com first reported the news on Friday.

Goldberg began his turner with the Las Vegas-based organization at UFC 15.5 “Ultimate Japan 1” in 1997 and became a fixture along with analyst Joe Rogan at pay-per-view events. Rogan, meanwhile, recently signed a one-year deal that will see him calling the majority of UFC pay-per-view cards through 2017.
