UFC president Dana White answered the $64,000 question on UFC Tonight regarding who middleweight champion Chris Weidman will face next. It's been a two-man race between former Strikeforce champions Luke Rockhold and Ronaldo Souza, and the selection is Rockhold.
Rockhold (14-2) has won 4 in a row, all by stoppage, after previously losing his debut to Vitor Belfort. The Californian is coming off a dominant showing over Lyoto Machida in April, finishing the former LHW champion with a 2nd round rear-naked choke.
Weidman (13-0) destroyed Vitor Belfort in the UFC 187 co-main event, keeping his perfect record alive and successfully defending his belt for a 3rd time.
