Thompson has withdrawn from his heavyweight bout after an undisclosed injury felled "The Colossus" with a little over a week to go before Bellator 138, forcing matchmakers to find a replacement for "The Dominator" on super short notice.
Three-time Bellator veteran Dan Charles (9-2) is getting the call for the biggest fight of his career to date, according to today's press release.
