Stipe Miocic and Curtis Blaydes both believe they deserve title shots in the UFC heavyweight division, but thanks to Brock Lesnar, neither are next in line.
So, according to Blaydes, the next best thing would be to pair up him and former champ Miocic and see who’s best fit to challenge the winner of champion Daniel Cormier vs. Lesnar, which is expected to take place early next year.
Coming off a TKO win over Alistair Overeem at UFC 225 in June, Blaydes was initially outraged at the fact that Lesnar leapfrogged him for a title shot against Cormier, who became a two-division champion when he knocked out Miocic last month.
