At UFC 162 back on July 2013, Cub Swanson took on German striker Dennis Siver in a featherweight bout for the opening of the pay-per-view card. That night, Swanson improved his professional MMA record to 20-5 and extended his winning streak to five in a row by stopping Siver via third-round technical knockout. Both Swanson and Siver earned $50,000 each for winning Fight of the Night.
Now, almost four years later, Swanson is getting ready to main event UFC Fight Night 108 against Artem Lobov. The event is set to take place this Saturday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
