A featherweight clash between Cub Swanson and Daniel Pineda has been added to the upcoming UFC 256 card on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas.
Both fighters confirmed the matchup via social media on Wednesday.
For Swanson this will be his first appearance in the octagon since October 2019 when he earned a unanimous decision over highly touted grappler Kron Gracie. Unfortunately, three months later Swanson participated in a grappling event where he suffered a torn ACL in his knee that required surgery, which ultimately kept him out of action for the past year.
