Cub Swanson landed a whopping 209 significant strikes in his triumph over Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night 108, many of them with his hands.
That figure was a UFC/WEC featherweight record, but it came with a price. In a brief update on UFC Tonight on Wednesday, Swanson revealed that he broke his left hand at some point during the 25-minute headliner at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., last Saturday.
“Unfortunately I just got back from the doctors; I don’t know when, but I broke my hand at some point,” Swanson said.
