When Jon Jones tested positive for Turinabol during an in-competition test that was released after UFC 214 last July, his camp’s main line of defense was that it could have been because of tainted supplements and that the substance was not taken on purpose. It has been an argument that they have stood by since day one.

After his hearing with the California State Athletic Commission in Anaheim on Tuesday, Jones went on to personally thank commission executive officer Andy Foster for “believing him.”

I want to thank csac for taking the time and hearing my case, and executive officer Andy Foster for saying he believes me.
