The dominant knockout artist will likely face Cindy Dandois in the main event if Invicta FC 15 on Jan. 16 in Costa Mesa, Calif., Invicta president Shannon Knapp announced Monday on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. It could be Cyborg's first attempt to drop to a 140-pound catchweight.
Knapp said the opponent is subject to change, as is the weight class.
Cyborg (14-1, 1 NC) has not lost since her first career fight in 2005. She has won four straight via knockout in Invicta and is the reigning Invicta women's featherweight champion. The Brazilian star, whose contract is with Zuffa, is leaving 145 pounds in an attempt to reach 135, so she can compete in the UFC.
