The lineup for Invicta Fighting Championships’ next event began to take shape on Monday, as the all-female organization revealed the several bouts for the Jan. 16 show at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Invicta President Shannon Knapp today announced that Invicta FC 15 will be headlined by a strawweight title bout between champion Livia Renata Souza and challenger DeAnna Bennett.
Knapp also said that the co-main event will feature featherweight ace Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino in a 140-pound tilt with Cindy Dandois. However, shortly after the announcement, Justino wrote on Twitter that no bout agreement has been signed for the matchup and that the date of Invicta FC 15 has changed three times.
