Cris Cyborg: ‘I have agreed to fight Amanda Nunes’ at UFC 226 on July 7

UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg looks to have had a change of heart.

After insisting that she wanted to fight a top featherweight contender over bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes, Cyborg -- real name Cristiane Justino -- has changed her mind and agreed to defend her title against ‘The Lioness’ at the upcoming summer UFC 226 pay-per-view on July 7.

Cyborg posted the news on Facebook, although the championship bout hasn’t been made official.

“I have agreed to fight Amanda Nunes on July 7 in Las Vegas as part of UFC 226 and International Fight Week,” Cyborg stated.
