Three weeks have passed since Cris Cyborg publicly called out UFC titleholder Germaine de Randamie for a UFC 214 showdown, and still, nothing is on the books. And if her recent social media activity is any indication, the women’s pound-for-pound great is getting tired of waiting.
Cyborg turned her attention towards UFC officials on Friday afternoon, calling for the promotion to book her next fight or release her in a tweet that tagged both UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and UFC president Dana White.
Last month, Cyborg (17-1, 1 NC) announced that she had vacated her long-held Invicta FC title in an attempt to set up a fight against de Randamie, who captured the inaugural UFC women’s featherweight belt with a divisive victory over Holly Holm at UFC 208.
