Who could be boxing's next big star? Omaha's Terence Crawford (27-0, 19 KOs) may fit the bill. The 2014 Fighter of the Year made a successful defense of his WBO junior welterweight (140 lbs) title with a 10th round TKO of Canada's Dierry Jean (29-2, 20 KOs) in the main event of HBO's World Championship Boxing on Saturday night in Crawford's hometown. It was a sellout crowd at hand, including billionaire mogul Warren Buffett, and they were treated to a masterful performance by Crawford in something that could only be billed as a showcase fight and not anything in the form of a legitimately compelling challenge.
