Colby Covington had his eyes set on Rafael dos Anjos and Neil Magny, but unless he chooses to sit out and wait, he won’t be fighting either man in his next Octagon outing.
Dos Anjos and Magny were recently booked to fight at UFC 215 in Edmonton, AB, Canada in September, which Covington, one of the most vocal welterweights on the UFC roster, isn’t too happy about.
“It’s an embarrassment-tour elimination bout,” Covington told BloodyElbow.com. “Real winner is whoever loses and runs off to hide from me in Bellator.
