Cory Sandhagen lost an opponent for UFC Raleigh when Frankie Edgar decided to step in as a last-minute replacement to fight at UFC Busan on Saturday. On Monday, it was reported that the number four-ranked bantamweight contender has been taken out of the card.
MMA Fighting confirmed the news through a text message sent by Sandhagen. In a subsequent Instagram post, “The Sandman” also mentioned he’s willing to wait for his next fight, as long as it’s against a top contender.
With Henry The Hall Monitor still on his power trip and wanting to fight a guy that lost (I know it was close, but on paper Aldo lost), who’s next for me?
