Malignaggi decided to bounce late Thursday night after McGregor’s photographer released a picture of him laying on his back while McGregor stood over him, giving off the impression that McGregor had knocked down the former two-time world champion boxer during a sparring session.
Not true, claims Malignaggi. The New Yorker states he hit the canvas because of a push, not a punch.
Its not nice 2 paint a pic that isn't true, this was a pushdown in sparring, post the whole video rounds 1 through 12 UNEDITED https://t.co/R82BLiMMVm

Malignaggi is challenging McGregor and the UFC to release unedited footage from Tuesday’s sparring session so fans can get a real understanding of what took place between the ropes, not just the picture that McGregor’s photog wants to paint.
