A couple of winners from the second season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series were suspended six months after testing positive for marijuana metabolites.
Both Anthony Hernandez and Jordan Williams were handed six-month sanctions during a Nevada Athletic Commission meeting on Wednesday. The fighters were fined 15 percent of their purse, which amounts to $750 each, along with $145.36 in attorney fees, while their victories were overturned to no contests. Both suspensions are retroactive to the date of their bouts on the Contender Series.
The MMA Report first brought word of the failed drug tests.
