Dana White wanted finishes at the Contender Series, and rewarded everyone who stopped their opponents with a contract at Tuesday night’s Contender Series in Las Vegas.
Of all five winners, the UFC president announced the company is signing Sean Woodson, Jamahal Hill and Billy Quarantillo to exclusive deals.
Woodson took a lightweight fight with Terrance McKinney on days’ notice and scored a highlight reel knockout at the UFC Apex. After spending most of the first round defending from McKinney’s rear-naked choke attempts, Woodson had his opponent on his back early in the second round, but this time he escaped and landed a brutal flying knee to put McKinney out cold.
