Conor McGregor’s legal team has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by Michael Chiesa.
Chiesa is suing McGregor for his attack on the bus carrying numerous UFC fighters and employees at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., two days ahead of UFC 223 this past April. The Irishman hurled a dolly through the window of the bus shattering glass and leaving Chiesa unable to compete at the event. TMZ Sports first reported the news.
In the lawsuit, Chiesa claims that he suffered “severe emotional distress, mental trauma and/or bodily harm” as a result of “assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
