Conor McGregor's corner finalized for Floyd Mayweather fight

The corner for Conor McGregor’s historic boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather has been finalized.

The four men who will be alongside McGregor on Aug. 26 are SBG striking coach Owen Roddy, SBG head coach John Kavanagh, UFC featherweight Artem Lobov, and cutman Tommy McCormack. Kavanagh confirmed the news Tuesday.

Roddy, an Irish MMA pioneer and longtime teammate of McGregor, will be the lead cornerman, meaning he will be the only individual allowed in the ring with McGregor between rounds.

Of note, McCormack is a veteran Irish cutman who has worked corners across boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai in his career.
