Conor McGregor wants to fight Frankie Edgar in December, says he will donate purse to charity

Both Conor McGregor and Frankie Edgar have agreed to fight each other in December after the two engaged on social media.

McGregor replied to a tweet from the UFC wishing Frankie Edgar a happy 38th birthday, telling Edgar he would “see him in December.” “The Answer” said “yes,” adding that it’s on the former two-division champ and UFC president Dana White to make the fight. McGregor said he would gladly accept and donate his whole fight purse to charity.

The UFC president White has not yet commented on the fight, however he did recently say if Tony Ferguson refuses to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov next for the UFC lightweight title, a rematch between Khabib and McGregor would take place.
