In late June, Paradigm Sports Management sued eight-division boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, for breach of contract. Pacquiao, who signed with Paradigm in early 2020, was accused of booking the would-be Errol Spence fight without the company’s involvement.
In turn, Paradigm wanted $3.3 million which Pacquiao supposedly received in advance. Unfortunately for them, a judge denied the injunction early this month. The fight subsequently pushed through on Saturday, but Spence was replaced by WBA welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas.
The breach of contract lawsuit remains active, and Paradigm’s star client Conor McGregor feels he is owed a percentage from the Pacquiao-Ugas fight.
