Conor McGregor is leaving no doubt he would like a second chance to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Speaking to TMZ Sports on Friday, McGregor said another match with Mayweather "needs" to happen.
Mayweather, 40, teased the possibility of fighting in MMA on Tuesday:
McGregor, 29, issued his response on Twitter, writing: "Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son. Yours sincerely, Senior." He later tweeted a photo holding his son with the caption "F--k the Mayweathers."
Their first matchup in August saw Mayweather defeat McGregor, who was fighting in his first professional boxing match, by TKO in the 10th round.
