Conor McGregor always did say T.J. Dillashaw was a ‘snake in the grass.’
Well, it turns out Dillashaw, the former two-time UFC bantamweight champion, tested positive for EPO (recombinant human erythropoietin) use in relation to his flyweight title bout with Henry Cejudo at UFC Fight Night 143.
According to the UFC’s Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance, Jeff Novitzky, EPO is “a very effective substance. It’s not a substance you find in contaminated supplements, it’s injectable only. You have to know what you’re doing when it enters your system.”
The 33-year-old has been suspended for two years and has been removed from the official UFC rankings.
