The countdown to Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor has truly begun. That much was evident on Thursday.
Hours after Mayweather released training footage of himself preparing for the blockbuster bout, McGregor answered with a training montage of his own, posting a clip to Instagram that saw the reigning UFC lightweight champion work through various bag drills and stretching exercises.
“You’ve never seen these moves,” McGregor wrote, adding the hashtag “ghost.”
McGregor and Mayweather are scheduled to meet on Aug. 26 in a fight that will likely be one of the most lucrative duels in combat sports history.
