Conor McGregor isn’t 100 percent sure if Khabib Nurmagomedov will make the walk to the Octagon on Saturday - and for good reason.
Khabib has pulled out of four bouts since joining the UFC in 2012, as the undefeated Dagestani has suffered with recurring injuries and weight cutting problems. ‘The Eagle’ pulled out of two scheduled bouts with Donald Cerrone in 2014/2015 and has been forced from two fights with Tony Ferguson - once due to injury and the other a failed weight cut at UFC 209.
McGregor, who will challenge Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title at UFC 229, initially wasn’t going to accept a replacement fight if his opponent ‘bottled’ it at the last minute.
