Conor McGregor isn’t mincing words ahead of his UFC 264 grudge match with Dustin Poirier.
“He’s a corpse,” McGregor told his website, The MacLife, on Wednesday when asked about Poirier, “a dead body, a blank face that’s going to get his ass whooped and taken out on a stretcher.”
McGregor (22-5) suffered a second-round knockout loss to Poirier in January at UFC 257. The lead-up to that fight was mostly an amicable one, but the Irishman has changed his tune for UFC 264, leaning back into the adversarial ways of his early UFC run.
