Conor McGregor remains at the forefront of battling the coronavirus in his home country, as the former UFC champion recently made a significant contribution to hospitals in Ireland.
McGregor shared on Twitter a text message exchange with Irish minister of finance Paschal Donohoe in which he revealed that he will be donating 1 million euro – a little less than $1.1 million – in protective gear to hospitals in the Leinster region of Ireland.
"Today, I am purchasing myself, €1 million euro worth of personal protective equipment to be deployed to all of the fighting hospitals in the Leinster region," McGregor texted to Donohoe.
