Conor McGregor-Donald Cerrone Set for UFC 246 on Jan. 18

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has given fans quite an announcement on Thanksgiving.

According to ESPN on Thursday, Conor McGregor (21-4) will return at UFC 246, where he will meet Donald Cerrone (36-13, 1 NC) at welterweight. The event will take place on Jan. 18, and is expected to be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, although there have been rumors claiming it may take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena instead due to potential scheduling issues.

McGregor has not competed since 2018, when he dropped his lightweight title fight to Khabib Nurmagomedov by fourth-round neck crank.
