Well, there’s certainly interest in seeing Conor McGregor lock horns with Khabib Nurmagomedov after ‘The Eagle’s’ three-round thrashing of Edson Barboza at UFC 219 and subsequent Twitter beef with ‘The Notorious’.
Shortly after Nurmagomedov’s lopsided win over Barboza, McGregor, the current UFC lightweight champion, called Khabib’s performance ‘dog sh-t’ on Twitter and told the undefeated Dagestani to get on his knees and ‘beg’ for a fight.
Nurmagomedov, who called out McGregor and Tony Ferguson in the post-fight interview, soon fired back with his own witty post and the two lightweights are still trading barbs on social media.
