Ronda Rousey’s return date is set. She’ll be fighting for the women’s bantamweight title again, just over a year after losing the belt to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Since she’s been gone, the belt has changed hands twice, first going to longtime foe Miesha Tate and now resting in the hands of Amanda Nunes.
With the amount of competition there’s been at the top of the division lately, some have cried foul that Rousey still gets to keep her spot at the front of the line. None more so than presumptive top contender Julianna Pena, who went so far as to threaten to leave the promotion after being passed over for the next title shot.
