Conflicting Reports Emerge Regarding Potential Mayweather-McGregor Target Date

Floyd Mayweather Jr. officially ended his retirement this past weekend to set his sights on Conor McGregor. That much is certain.

Depending on the source, that superfight is either imminent or still a distant speck on the horizon. According to a recent report from FloCombat.com, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas put June 10 on hold for a potential boxing match between Mayweather and McGregor. That date would seem to align with the recent statement from Mayweather, who challenged the UFC lightweight champion to a fight in June.

“I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC,” Mayweather said.
