It's the end of the Machida era, isn't it? As much as the MMA world loves him, it's proabably time we start realizing that any fights Machida takes after this are part of a goodbye tour. Machida will have no problem running over the CB Dollaways and Ryan Baders of the world, but it's clear that the elite in the 205 and 185 divisions will no longer be realisitc wins for the Dragon.
It's sad. So in retrospect, Machida's career has been one of a great, but it certainly wasn't the era of domination we expected. Sure, going 3-4 in his last 7 isn't the worst recording considering his competition, but where does he go from here?
