Combate Global returns tonight with Combate Global 13. After the promotion’s debut on a new American network last week at Combate Global 12, the self-proclaimed “fastest-growing sports franchise in the world” and “number one Latino MMA organization in the world” owned and operated by UFC co-founder Campbell McLaren will look to carry that momentum into tonight’s event.
The main event is a lightweight clash between “El Negro” Levy Marroquin and “El Changuito” Carlos Calvo Calvo. Mexico’s Marroquin is best known for winning Combate’s one-night, eight-man bantamweight championship in 2017, which included wins over current UFC fighters Marcelo Rojo and John Castaneda.
