Jiu-Jitsu was truly in paradise this past weekend in Cancun, Mexico, with Combat Jiu-Jitsu Worlds 2020 Female Flyweights Championship (plus superfights). While CJJW’s event was not the only one going on last weekend, they were, however, the only event that had submissions for every match in the original tournament. Brazilian Top Team‘s brown belt Brianna Ste-Marie of Canada took home top honors as she was crowned CJJW’s first female flyweight champion over a division of seasoned competitors with Nikki Sullivan, Liz Tracy, Carina Damm, Oaulina Granados, Jessica Delboni, Andrea Vazquez, and Pearl Gonzalez.
