Colby Covington didn’t address Fabricio Werdum directly, but he didn’t need to. The target of his mockery was abundantly clear.
After Werdum suffered a fourth-round knockout loss to Alexander Volkov at UFC Fight Night 127, Covington posted the following GIF on Twitter with the hashtag #UFCLondon:
Of course, Covington and Werdum have a history dating back to UFC Fight Night 121, which took place in Sydney, Australia this past November. Outside the fighter hotel, Covington and Werdum got into an ugly verbal altercation in which Covington used a homophobic slur and insulted the Brazilian people.
